Our Story
Seetek EMS Sdn Bhd located in Penang, Malaysia is the Netherland based PCBA manufacturing for audio products and subsidiary of parent company Hypex Electronics base in Netherlands. Hypex Electronics is a company which makes amplifiers, power supplies as well as DSP boards (digital signal processing) with the highest possible quality in mind. They are involved in some of the most High-End audio application found today.
Seetek was started as a joint venture between Hypex Class D manufacturer and local component distributor in October 2012. The manufacturing facilities was first setup in Simpang Ampat for producing power supplies, and the first production started in early 2013. By December of 2014, the factory had successfully produced 100K power supplies.
In May of 2015, the company was renamed as Seetek EMS as known today when Hypex Electronics acquired 100% of the equity. With growing business, the manufacturing facility was moved from Simpang Ampat to Parit Buntar to meet higher production demand.
In March of 2019, the manufacturing facilities was again relocated to Nibong Tebal, the current location, due to tenancy expiration and closer to better infrastructure. As time progress, Seetek was certified with ISO 9001:2015 in July of the same year. The facility was then further deployed with enterprise resource planning tool before the end of the year.
Over the course of production, various high-end audio products have been manufactured according to the strictest customers’ demand. You will see our manufactured products in various audio trade shows.

It is important to create a good safety culture in our workplace because it will save lives. When our employees feel safe, they are happier and more productive in their work environment. A happy employee can be beneficial to us because it can ultimately heightens productivity levels when performing tasks that require concentration such as operating machinery.

Install the solar panel onto our factory roof to self-suffice our daily usage as to become energy independent, and will decrease our carbon footprint.

Recycling the waste and sort the industrial waste according to the local government guideline.

Rebuild the production line by using sustainable natural energy such as natural sunlight to efficiently brings natural light into workplace using exterior glazing, thereby reducing artificial lighting requirements and saving energy.
